Envirotex is a 2 part casting resin so there is a bottle of resin and a bottle of harder. When EQUAL parts are mixed together it hardens slowly (about overnight for this project). This is a timed reaction so have everything ready to fill (all the capsules placed in a holder) before mixing the two parts. Do this when you will not be interupted. You can't leave it and come back to it once it is mixed.

-
You need 2 small plastic cups (the same size). Label one R (for the resin part) and label the other one H (for the hardener). This is so you always put the resin and hardener in the correctly labelled cups if you are doing more than one batch. It also aids you in keeping track that you have one part resin and one part hardener of equal portions. If you accidently use two parts of the same kind the resin will not setup and all that hard work is wasted. So really watch that.

- Pour the resin in the larger cup. Add drops of dye. How many drops depends on dark of color you want. Now pour the hardener into the cup with the resin and dye. Stir well to mix. At this stage it has alot of bubbles and is smelly. Give it about a 5 minute rest from stirring. You will notice all the bubbles have floated up to the top surface.

- Use a good plastic bag with a sealable top. The craft store types are thicker than a sandwich bag types from the grocery store. Thicker bags are better. Pour the mixture into the plastic bag.
- Make sure the seal is secure. If not, you will have a mess.
- Roll up the bag as shown.
- Cut off a tiny tip of one corner. Make sure it is really small. You can always make it bigger but you can't make it smaller if you cut it too large. You will squeeze it out into the capsules like you would squeeze frosting out of a pastry tube.
- Fill the capsules and let them at least sit overnight undisturbed.

- Use the qtips to clean up any excess drips and pours as you go from one capsule to the next. If you do not clean the spills before it hardens it may seal the capsule into the holder so it can't be removed. If there is a big overflow, take the tweezers and move the filled capsule to another open holder space for the same reason.
- Let the filled capsule set at least overnight to harden. I do not put them in sealed bags for a few days due to the fact even though they are hard enough to use they are still curing. They need a little air time before being put in any air tight containers.
Now that the bottles are hardened you get to have fun creating perfume bottles. Try some labels provided on the printing page for your new bottles . Use beads for the lids. Enjoy your new creation!
